After several attempts to contact the developers, yesterday (17/02) the Official Trump 2020 app was removed from the Play Store library. Google removes apps considered non-functional, and the official Trump XNUMX app Trump stopped working properly (if we can say so), presenting a certain slowness and connectivity problems on the loading screen.
Despite the name Official Trump 2020, the app was created for the 2016 election campaign, in which Donald Trump was elected president of the United States. In the following years, the app received several updates, but it never stopped working. In terms of features, users could register the former president's rallies, check events and even contribute financially to the campaign.
Under the terms of use of Play Store, it is clear that the applications that are available must present at least minimum functionalities and experiences to the user.

In a recent statement to the Android Police, Google responded: “The Trump 2020 campaign app recently stopped working and we have reached out to the developer multiple times in an attempt to get them to address the issue. People expect apps downloaded from Google Play to provide a minimum level of functionality and our policy is to remove non-working apps from the store if they are not fixed.”
Claiming violations of Play Store policies, Google also removed the conservative social media app Parler last month. The app is alleged to have been used to help organize events that threatened public safety on January 06. However, recently, Parler is back online, with old posts deleted.
