We should soon see new Pixel Buds, the TWS headphones of Google appeared in a record of the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The devices are listed as Weifang Goertek Electronics, as well as the first generation of the search giant's accessories.
The second generation, in turn, was listed entirely as “Made by Google“, but still, based on the nomenclature, it is unlikely that the registration is for another product. Furthermore, the models “GPQY2” and “G7YPJ” are listed precisely in the Bluetooth bands used by last year's Google Pixel Buds and the type of listing is also exactly the same.
In terms of appearance, the new Pixel Buds are expected to be similar to their predecessor, as the dimensions of 27 x 20 x 15 mm are practically the same as the previous generation.
New Arrivals
One of the problems with headphones Google launched in 2020 was precisely the connection, with users complaining that the devices suffered from audio cuts and lack of synchronization. At the time, the company released updates to try to fix the problems, but now they must move on to a more definitive solution in the new generation.
Despite using exactly the same Bluetooth band, the new ones pixel Buds have a much higher power output, 13,24mW and 19,82mW, compared to last year's 8mW and 16mW, which should ensure much more stability in the connection between the devices and the smartphone.
In addition to the flagship Pixel Buds, Google is expected to launch a more affordable TWS headset that will maintain the same quality Bluetooth band. Currently, neither Samsung nor Apple offer this type of technology at lower prices.
Google accessories are usually introduced in October, but this year, based on the FCC registration date, they are expected to be launched in the middle of the year, as was the case with the Pixel 3a and 4a smartphones. It is likely that the new Pixel Buds will be launched alongside the Pixel 5a. Here in Brazil, the accessories have never been officially launched.
