Next month, another Android device will hit the market, the German smartphone Gigaset GS4, presented alongside the entry-level model GS3. The company is well known in the European market for its work with fixed telephony, but in recent years it has gained prominence with its strategy of manufacturing smartphones in Germany. The GS4 is the fourth smartphone Made in Germany, a differentiator that seems to work in the local market.
The German smartphone has a 6,3-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and IPS (in plane switching) technology. This technology offers greater color fidelity at any viewing angle. The front camera has a 13-megapixel sensor, and can be used to unlock the smartphone with facial recognition. In addition, it has a fingerprint reader on the back.
Customizing the rear is a differentiator

Furthermore, the company has invested in the personalization of smartphones as another attraction to try to capture the attention of its audience. This way, the user can place phrases and photos on the back, which has a tempered glass finish.
The MediaTek Helio P70 SoC has eight cores and up to 2,1GHz. It also has the same 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory as the GS3, which can be expanded up to 512GB with the two microSD slots. With this capacity, there will be no shortage of space for apps, games, videos or photos.
The Gigaset GS4 has a triple camera with LED flash, with a 16-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
The battery has a capacity of 4300 mAh. It can be charged wirelessly at a speed of up to 15 watts, but if the user prefers, it can also be charged at the outlet with up to 18 watts. In addition, it can also be replaced whenever necessary. This way, it is not necessary to change the device frequently.
Pricing
The Gigaset GS4 will be available in black or white. It costs 229 euros in Europe, or about $1.518.
