According to the latest rumors, Samsung could launch its new Exynos 992 processor in August, equipping the new Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20+ smartphones. According to the information, the processors would be ready on that date, and would only not be used in the two devices if Samsung does not want them to.
The Exynos 992 should be manufactured on the 5nm process and will feature the new Cortex-A78 CPU and the new Mali-G78 GPU, which were submitted this week by Arm.
Still according to reports made by sources from the Korean version of the site ZDNet, the processor would be up to 20% more efficient than the Exynos 990 with Cortex-A77. In addition, the GPU would have a performance up to 25% higher than Mali-G77.
