Galaxy Buds Pro get special version in partnership with Adidas

April 5th 2021

Samsung has announced a special – and limited – series of Galaxy Buds Pro headphones, which will be produced in partnership with Adidas, a manufacturer of sports equipment. The main colors will be white and green, in reference to the Stan Smith sneaker model, but these will only be applied to the charging case of the headphones which, by the way, will be in the shape of a cap.

According to Samsung, the different version of the Galaxy Buds Pro, inspired by an Adidas classic, will have three color options (but, unfortunately, not the green and white found in the pairs of sneakers). The headphones will be available in Phantom Black, Phantom Silver and Phantom Violet.

Ecological “Footprint”

By producing a series of headphones inspired by an Adidas sneaker model, Samsung wanted to give the Galaxy Buds Pro an eco-friendly “footprint” (pardon the pun). They will be made with 20% recycled material and are environmentally friendly. “We are planning this special package for consumers who seek value consumption, especially generations interested in sustainable products and fashion, and we will continue to strengthen the unique Galaxy eco-ecosystem through meaningful collaboration with various brands in the future,” a Samsung employee confided to Sam Mobile on condition of anonymity.

The 6 users who manage to purchase the special series of Galaxy Buds Pro made in partnership with Adidas will also be entitled to a discount on the purchase of a Stan Smith sneaker model. In addition, when using the headphones With a Galaxy phone, users can enable a personalized Adidas Originals theme. Through this feature, users will gain a personalized lock screen, icons, call and message screens, as well as a quick access icon to the Adidas online store.

Unfortunately, the new Galaxy Buds Pro Adidas will only be sold in South Korea, starting next Wednesday (07/04), and at a very “salty” price: 279 thousand South Korean won, which is equivalent to R$1.265, without the inclusion of fees or other taxes.
