A few weeks after having the codename of your project revealed, an image of the OnePlus 9 – the next smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer of the same name – was released on the internet this Monday (16).
The alleged image of the OnePlus 9 is actually an image of a CAD file that was of one of its prototypes. It shows a device with an ultra-thin design and some details on the back cover, such as the presence of a triple camera.
The OnePlus 9 image was made available by a forum user 91mobiles, this weekend, and indicates that the device will have a flat screen with a front camera located on the upper left side.

In addition to the images, the publication guarantees that the screen will be 6.6” with a refresh rate of 120 Hz – greater than the 6.5” of the OnePlus 8T, the Chinese manufacturer's current top-of-the-line model.
What will the future be like?
In addition to the alleged image of the OnePlus 9, the publication also indicated that the device will be curved and will come with a rectangular triple camera module, with two larger lenses and one smaller one, as well as an LED flash. Information about the camera specifications was not disclosed.
However, there are still doubts as to whether the leaked image actually refers to the OnePlus 9. According to user Max Jambor, another well-known figure on the internet for leaking smartphone CAD designs, on his Twitter, the images revealed by 91 mobiles are not 100% reliable.
The user claims that the design of the device does not match the information he received from a source inside OnePlus.

OnePlus 9 specifications
The OnePlus 9 image wasn't the only new thing this weekend. The platform Geekbench also released technical specifications of the device.
According to the portal, OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro versions will be launched, both with 8 GB of RAM and Snapdragon 875 processor and Android 11.
In addition, following the trend of the OnePlus 8T, the OnePlus 9 is also likely to support 65-watt fast charging.
