Exynos 1080 5G commercial raises expectations, but no news
Samsung released a commercial yesterday showing more details of the Exynos 1080 5G, its new processor for flagships. The chip was submitted officially on 12/11, and has generated great expectations for the smartphones that are coming.
In the commercial, Samsung highlights the highlights of its new chip, starting with 5G connectivity with speeds of up to 5,1Gbps. The smartphones will be equipped with cameras of up to 200 megapixels, capable of recording videos with HDR10+ in 4K at 60 frames per second.
The video also extols the merits of the four cores Cortex-A78 (the other four are Cortex-A55), the first of which is aimed at smartphone performance. In addition, the Mali-G78 GPU is also mentioned, with support for Full HD+ resolution screens. The devices' screens will be able to have a refresh rate of 144Hz.
The idea behind the commercial is to be more playful than informative, so we don't get any new clues about Samsung's new top-of-the-line chip. In any case, the video plays with the idea that the processor is so fast that it will make "your phone fly."
