Dual charger makes a “sandwich” to charge your phone and headphones at the same time
Zens has created a dual wireless charger called the Dual Powerbank. The idea behind the accessory is to give users the ability to charge two devices at the same time, such as a cell phone and a headphone case.
This would work because of its double-sided design, meaning the dual charger would be placed between a smartphone and a case, becoming the filling of a magnetic sandwich. According to Zens' announcement, the accessory theoretically works with any wireless device, but the main target would be compatible with MagSafe, that is, the products Apple, like the iPhone 12 and AirPods.
The technical specifications also indicate that the dual charger is capable of handling two 4000 mAh devices at the same time, but the maximum charging output is slightly lower than the charging found on most common smartphones. The Dual Powerbank charges two devices at the same time with a 7,5W charge, half the 15W available on some phones.
Price and availability
The suggested price for the Dual Powerbank is 70 euros (R$ 414, in direct conversion with this Friday's rate), and the device is on sale on the brand's official website. The demand for the accessory seems to be quite satisfactory, as it appears as “sold out”, and is expected to be back in stock on June 28th.
Zens also announced the launch of another product, aimed at those who may not be interested in (or do not believe in) the efficiency of the dual charger. The Powerbank with single charging costs 50 euros (R$ 295, in direct conversion), and is also available (and in stock) on the manufacturer's official website.
