App Store update includes tags to make it easier to find iOS apps
After years, the App Store has finally gained contextual tags to make it easier to search for a specific app in the more than two million apps available in the iOS virtual store. The update made by Apple was noticed by users of MacRumors website forum and also in the Twitter.
Basically, contextual tags imply a more in-depth way of searching for an item: for example, if you open the App Store and search for the word “Photos”, the system will understand what you want to find and make related suggestions to refine the search, including terms like “Montage” or “Image editor”.

When you click on a suggestion, the search results list will change to reflect the additional details, showing only apps that have a function similar to the tag suggested (if you search for “Photos” and click on “Montage,” for example, only apps with that feature will be shown). According to users, up to two additional tags can be used in a search.
For now, the feature appears to be available only to a select few users. iOS. Several internet users claimed to see the new feature in the beta version of iOS 14.5, but some also suggest that the App Store also gained contextual tags in version 14.4.2 of the system — an indication that the change could be made via “server side”, that is, it will be directly implemented by Apple even if you don't update your operating system iPhone.
