Users of the streaming app Amazon You could already download and restart chapters using dedicated buttons. Now, the Prime Video app has a button to randomly display episodes from a specific season. The new feature is already available in several countries, including Brazil.
Who has never been bored and wanted to watch a random episode easily? Until now, users had to first search for an episode within the season to watch a chapter. Now, users can watch content this way with just one click. The new random episode feature on the Prime Video app is currently in the testing phase and is available across most of the platform's catalog. This tool has been gradually implemented since last year.

Apparently, the new Amazon Prime Video feature has only arrived for apps on Android devices and the button is not yet available for smartphones with the iOS operating system. The button is also not available on the web version for now.
Competitor Netflix is exploring the possibility of putting this feature on its mobile app as well. The company is also testing to end shared passwords. Hulu also did some similar testing on its app a few years ago.
