Apparently, Honor will launch foldable phones in three models
A Chinese Honor, it seems, is diving head first into the foldable smartphone universe, with three models in particular: Magic Fold, Magic Flip and Honor Flex. One of them, moreover, could arrive in the next few years. months of this year 2021.
At the beginning of the year, a folding series Magic was already being considered to compete with Honor's rivals in the market after its departure from Huawei. The rumors were confirmed at the beginning of the last week, with an inward-folding phone to be called the Honor Magic Fold. The device would have the collaboration of suppliers BOE, which has worked with Huawei, and Visionox.
This Fold model would be at the forefront of the Chinese company's debut in the foldable phone market, in times of the arrival of the Galaxy Z Fold 3. Samsung's foldable is a few weeks away from its launch (possibly, at an event to be held on the 03th of August), alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 3, another foldable from the Korean company that should also have a competing model from Honor.
Magic Flip and Honor Flex are expected to come later
A Magic Flip, however, does not appear to be in the Chinese manufacturer's sights for now, even though the company has already registered this brand name in China. Speaking of which, the Honor Flex name has also been registered by Honor in the country, suggesting that a possible extendable phone is already being considered by the company for the near future.
The list of names patented by the manufacturer now also includes some that refer to devices such as a router, headphones, some series of tablets (Touch, Tap and Pad), sharing services (Share and Drop) and, possibly, a pen (Pen). Although these names are registered in China, the expectation is that Honor will also introduce these new products to the global market as soon as possible. After all, the company has already shown that its limits have increased significantly, given its recent launches of the 50 series. with Google apps and services.
