Rejoice, Xiaomi users, the Chinese company has confirmed that it will start rolling out Android 11 to most of its smartphones, both its own brand and Redmi's. The company has completed the rollout of MIUI 12, its own custom interface based on Google's operating system, which is already available for almost all devices.
For those who are a little confused, there are cell phones Xiaomi that will receive Android 11 and MIUI 12 and some that will only receive MIUI 12. This is because the interface launched at the beginning of the year also has a version based on Android 10.
Pela MIUI 12, in addition to a change in the look, there is now a dark mode for the entire system, adjustments to animations and an always-on display mode. So far, the new interface based on Android 11 has arrived in a stable form for the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Mi 10. During testing, MIUI 12 was launched for the standard version of the Redmi Note 9 in India, but after bugs it ended up only being available on the Pro version.
Testing update
MIUI 12 Android 11 has been in its beta version on the Redmi K30 and Xiaomi Mi 9 since December. Shortly after, the POCO F2 Pro also entered testing and will receive the stable version soon.
The Mi Note 10 has received Android 11 in the Western market. The update was also released for the Mi A3 and suffered some crashes until it was taken offline. But everything is now fine, the problem has been fixed and the A3 has received Android 11.
