A Apple is preparing to release new versions of its iPads, including the base model, the Air and Mini, in the coming days or weeks. Rumors point to the arrival of M2 and A16 Bionic chips, bringing more speed and performance to the devices.

Development of these tablets is at an advanced stage, and the updates appear to focus primarily on faster chips. The M2, found in Macs, is expected to boost the performance of the iPads. However, the iPad Mini is expected to continue using the A16 Bionic processor, which will also be found in the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 models.

A Apple may choose to make these updates without holding a special event or recording a live video presentation. The launch of the non-Pro iPads has been anticipated for some time, but according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, it won't happen next week as many had expected.

Traditionally, Apple usually releases new laptops and iPads in October, about a month after new iPhones and Apple Watches. However, the latest indications suggest that this schedule may be delayed.

Most of the time, the company (Apple) launches new laptops and iPads in October – about a month after the last iPhone and Apple Watch. And although I reported in July that the Apple was planning this release like this, the latest indications are that it will not happen this month

In short, while updates to non-Pro iPads are on the way, the Apple may decide to launch them without much fanfare, focusing on internal improvements such as new chips rather than holding a special launch event.
