On September 1st, Sony will reveal its new smartphone, the Xperia 5 V, to the world. The company recently confirmed the date for its flagship model. Although the teaser doesn't show the entire phone, it's clear that the cameras will be the device's main highlight.

Sony is gearing up for the debut of its latest phone, which will be revealed at 16pm Japan time. In Brazil, we'll have the opportunity to see it at 4am on September 1st.

As part of its promotional campaign, the Japanese brand invited dancer KTea to appear in the teaser. In the video, she is seen using the Xperia 5 V to capture moments with other people and “discover a new version of herself”.

Even though the teaser didn't show what the model looks like, it's clear that the device's cameras are being highlighted, suggesting that they will be one of the phone's attractive points.

• Although the company has not yet revealed the appearance of the model, a recent leak may have anticipated some information;
• A user on Reddit posted a video which supposedly shows the design of the product, indicating the presence of a dual camera array;
• Additionally, it is speculated that the cell phone may include a headphone jack and adopt a notchless screen, with thicker edges at the top and bottom, as pointed out in the video;
• As far as specifications are concerned, the Xperia 5 V is tipped to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and possibly up to 16GB of RAM;
• As for the battery capacity, this detail remains a secret, although there are indications of possible support for 33W fast charging.
