All about the best cell phones

Some manufacturers have partnerships with companies from other sectors for exclusive versions of their flagships. Huawei has already maintained relationships with Porsche, OnePlus with McLaren, and iQOO has with the BMW, and images of the new project between the two have emerged.

We talk about the iQOO 8 BMW, the brand's next high-performance smartphone, after its launch still recent of the iQOO 7 BMW. Some Chinese companies are accelerating the pace of replacing their flagships. A differentiator of the next cell phone should be the presence of the Snapdragon 888 Plus — information confirmed by the manufacturer via Weibo.

In terms of leaks, the leaked images of the BMW iQOO 8 show a large camera lens box on the back. There are at least three visible sensors. The front one would come as a hole in the upper central region of the screen. The material ends up confirming the presence of 120W fast charging — wired.

LTPO screen

Another difference that the iQOO 8 BMW should have is a screen with E5 brightness technology. It is something that the industry promises to optimize the illumination of the panel on sunny days. The display would be LTPO, the same as the Apple can use in some iPhone 13 to offer dynamic refresh rate. Alongside some OnePlus models, the smartphone would support one billion colors — instead of the 16 million standard most widespread on the market.

The images also show that the IQOO 8 will have both a BMW version and a regular version — the latter all in black with a carbon fiber texture. The leaked promotional material is a strong indication that the company is making the final adjustments for its launch. The flagship could be announced on August 17 — as early as next week.
