Samsung's Unpacked is just over a week away, but on Tuesday (03/08), a new leak released the full list of specifications for the Galaxy Watch 4, one of the attractions at the event next Wednesday, August 11th. As has been reported previously, the smartwatch will come in two models, the normal and the Classic, each in two sizes, totaling four variants.
The staff of Slash Gear, responsible for detailing the complete technical specifications, revealed that both the Galaxy Watch 4 and the Classic will come in 44 mm or 46 mm versions. The main difference, besides, obviously, the size, will be the presence of the rotating bezel, exclusive to the Classic model. The screen of the 46 mm Classic will be 1,36 inches, while that of the 44 mm will be 1,18 inches, both with 450 x 450 pixels.
Processor and features
More than just the look, which has also been revealed in other leaks, recent information about the specifications of the Galaxy Watch 4 line has confirmed interesting points about Samsung's new line of smartwatches. Including the processor that will be under the hood of the smartwatches.
It will be a 920nm Exynos W5, which will work paired with 1,5GB of RAM and 16 GB Internal Storage. The Galaxy Watch 4's specifications also include features such as NFC and 4G LTE support. The IP68 certification ensures that the smartwatch will be ready to accompany users in their exercise routine, as it makes it resistant to sweat and dust.
Speaking of exercise, there’s no way to mention the Galaxy Watch 4’s specs without mentioning its health-focused features. In addition to constant heart rate and blood oxygen level monitoring, the smartwatch will also feature technologies like ECG and PPG, both aimed at monitoring heart rate and blood pressure. The Galaxy Watch 4 will also debut a sensor known as “BIA”, which promises to measure the user's body fat index.
It's also worth remembering that even the price of the Galaxy Watch 4 has already been leaked previously. This happened because Amazon, one of the world's leading e-commerce sites, released early the values and images that Samsung intends to charge for the accessory. Now we just have to wait until the 11th and see if everything will finally be confirmed.
