After the launch of the semi-smart resistant G-Shock GBD 200, the accessories specialist company is bringing yet another retro novelty for this month. Together with Pac Man developer Namco, Casio is launching a nostalgic watch from the famous 80s game.

Inspired by the design of the 1978 Casio F-100 watch, the new retro accessory, named A100WEPC, will be available later this month. Considered revolutionary at the time, the F-100 was one of the first accessories to feature a stopwatch and digital alarm.

Nostalgic design

Weighing 53g, the A100WEPC is water resistant and has features such as alarms, calendar, LED backlight and stopwatch. Respecting the design of the F-100, the new watch has four buttons on the front. On its dial, the accessory features the Illuminator logo, as well as, of course, the Pac Man design and colorful ghosts.

With a stainless steel bracelet, the accessory has a gold-plated base, on which according to the company “It is inspired by the color of the Pac Man arcade game cabinet.” On the back, there is an engraving showing Pac Man running away from four ghosts. The design on the bracelet was made through laser engraving, which can make the lines last a long time on the material.

Along with the watch, it comes with a special stand and a black package with colorful designs, which shows the complete map of the iconic game. In addition to Japan, the new Pac Man watch will be launched for users in the United Kingdom this month, but the price has not yet been announced by the company. Unfortunately, it is not known when (and if) the accessory will arrive in stores in Brazil.
