The manufacturer Oppo launched the 4G version of the Reno 6 mobile phone in the Indonesian market, but despite the name, it is a new device. The device that arrived in Oceania carries many differences compared to the 5G models from the Reno 6 line, launched in mid-May this year. Even without connecting to the new network technology, the device reveals itself as a mid-range device with good specifications and more affordable.

The Oppo Reno 6 4G is available in two colors, Aurora and Stellar Black, and has only one memory configuration, which is 8 GB of RAM with 128 GB of storage, and the price is 5 Indonesian rupiah, which is approximately R$ 199 (without taxes and fees). Its launch was parallel to that of another product from the Chinese company, the Oppo Watch 000, which hit the market with three different versions.

What has changed?

 

The differences between the Oppo Reno 6 4G start with its battery, which has a power of 4310 mAh, a rather “broken” number and which is in the middle between the battery of the Reno 6 5G and the Pro + version. The charger is inferior to the three versions launched at the beginning of the year, being a super fast 50W model.

In terms of cameras, the 4G device inherited the same rear lens configurations as the Oppo Reno 6 5G Pro. In other words, it has a 64 MP main sensor accompanied by an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor and two other sensors, one depth and one macro, both with 2 MP. But the selfie camera is better, and has 44 MP, more resolution than the 32 MP of the 5G models.

The processor of the smartphone launched in Indonesia has also changed. It is a Snapdragon 720G, the same as the iQOO U1. But the SoC aspect was not a consensus even among the other three devices in the line. Finally, the screen configurations of the cell phone launched today are the same as the basic model of the 5G line, including the 90Hz refresh rate.
