All about the best cell phones

Two weeks separate us from the next Unpacked event, when the new Samsung devices, the foldable Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3. The South Korean company confirmed that its next event will take place on 11/08. Before that, new details and images of the Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 continue to appear, and the new ones show the camera array in detail. The person responsible for the leak is once again Evan Blass, who provided the probable details of Samsung's new devices on his Twitter profile.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 may have a selfie camera hidden on your screen, although this is not confirmed. But, whatever it may be, the insider says that the sensor will have 10 megapixels of resolution. The external screen should have a camera of only 4 MP. Most likely because it will be able to use the set of triple lenses on the back for the same purpose.

This camera set on the back of the Z Fold 3, by the way, should arrive with three 12-megapixel sensors. In other words, no super resolutions like we see in the Galaxy S family. This will not prevent the cell phone from achieving good levels of detail, for example, if Samsung chooses to include macro or telephoto lenses.

In addition, Evan Blass also reiterates that the foldable will have a 7,6-inch internal screen and a 6,2-inch external screen. Reinforcing the likely S-Pen compatibility, he says that the phone will have two additional S-Pens, sold separately. One is from the Pro edition, initially designed for the S21 Ultra. And another specifically for the Z Fold 3.

Z Flip also gains details.

In addition to the Z Fold 3's camera specifications, the insider also brought data for the Z Flip 3. It should have two external lenses, with 12 megapixels each. The internal one will have 12 MP of resolution. Internally, the clamshell foldable will have a 6,7-inch screen. The external display will be expanded to 1,9 inches.

Both phones will have IPX8 protection, which is very welcome for foldables. This will ensure that the flagships are resistant to solid objects, given the good sealing of the hardware's innards. This was a problem especially with the first flexible screen phones on the market.

It is worth remembering the possible prices for the Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 already leaked. Furthermore, the two are already approved in Brazil, and the final details will be confirmed by Samsung in mid-August at Galaxy Unpacked.
