O MMORPG Perfect World has a new game for Android e iOS, Perfect World Revolution. The game features vertical resolution that prioritizes single-handed gameplay, something that apparently did not please fans of the franchise.

Despite expectations (Perfect World Revolution reached the milestone of more than half a million pre-registrations), the community seems to have not liked the idea of a game arranged vertically. According to reviews left on the title's Google Play page, players' first impressions reveal something very beautiful, full of new features that, due to the simplified gameplay, does not present great challenges.

In another comment, a player praised the game's graphics and universe, but complained that the matches are automated: “you can't play with one hand and the wild mode is really bad, it doesn't even have flight acceleration”, highlights one of the users.

According to the developers, Perfect World Revolution's vertical screen is designed to make life easier for users. The idea is that players can enjoy quick matches without having to worry about complex battle mechanics, ideal for playing while waiting in line or on public transport. Despite this, players also complain that the graphics are poorly scaled for the new format, giving the impression that some scenarios are cut off.

Perfect World is an exploration game in which players can choose one of seven classes, including barbarian, vulpine, assassin, archer, cleric, wizard and blademaster, to undertake adventures alone or in guilds. Check out the trailer for the new game below:

Classic version of the game is also available

In Brazil, the computer version of Perfect World is distributed by Level Up Games, which has servers for the desktop version of the game, but in the case of Perfect World Revolution the servers are global (they are not located in Brazil), which also generated some criticism from players who were unable to establish connections for matches. In addition to the two titles, there is a version similar to the original game available for smartphones, in which the gameplay follows the horizontal standards: Perfect World Mobile.

According to the developers of Perfect World Revolution, player feedback is being monitored to think about improvements to the vertical format experience for players. New updates on the mechanics should be released soon. As of now, there is no prospect of Perfect World Revolution replacing the fan-favorite version. The game should continue as an experiment in new gameplay perspectives for users.
