All about the best cell phones

With two silver medals, Brazil is doing very well in skateboarding in Olympics Tokyo 2020, especially after the historic performance of young Rayssa Leal.

And for those of you who are aspiring to this extreme sport that recently became an Olympic sport, I have put together a list of skateboarding games for cell phones that can inspire you and even teach you the most famous maneuvers.

1. Skate Lines

Skate Lines game for mobile

First up, I'm bringing you the game Skate Lines. This game from Agens has really good graphics and simple gameplay. In addition to paddling, you can learn the most famous skateboarding tricks, such as Ollie, Kickflip, Hardflip and Heelflip. To perform these tricks, just tap and hold anywhere on the screen, and the options will appear. With your finger still pressed on the screen, drag to perform the trick you want.

There are almost 40 ground maneuvers and 20 different slides to perform throughout the game's levels. Remember that when you encounter obstacles, you must jump so that your skater doesn't trip or fall down a ladder. In the game, you can also record and share your gameplay on social media. It's also worth mentioning that the game features a side-scrolling camera, just like in platform games.

You can download Skate Lines on your Android by clicking here. Or click here to install it on your iOS devices.

2. Mike V: Skateboard Party

The game produced by Maple Media is inspired by skateboarder Mike Vallely, featuring a career mode and a free mode to practice tricks. In Mike V: Skateboard Party, you have access to more than 40 tricks, which can have different scores. All of this depends on the combinations you make, just like in real competitions that we see out there.

There are 7 tracks to skate on, including one located next to a school and another on the beach. You can choose between 8 skaters, who can be improved over time and as you progress.

Not only can you customize your skateboard by changing shapes and wheels, but you can also customize your skater by changing his clothes and shoes. In addition, I would like to highlight the graphics, which are similar to the nostalgic games of the iconic Tony Hawk for PlayStation.

Download Mike V: Skateboard Party at Play Store ou na App Store.

3. Flip Skater

We've already talked about several games developed by Miniclip and today it's no different. Flip Skater has a very interesting style and one of the best graphics in the category. With your phone in portrait mode, you control the skater on the ramp, performing tricks that give you different scores, depending on the level of difficulty. Everything involved in the trick can influence the score, from the height you reach to the style of descent.

There are a number of scenarios that are typical of the sport, with ramps on beaches, big cities and even in the middle of mountains. With the rewards and scores, you can unlock and buy new shapes that help you perform in more difficult maneuvers.

Install Flip Skater on your Android or in your iOS.

4. Stickman Skate Battle

They're on practically every list we've made here at VC, but the characters from Stickman Skate Battle definitely couldn't be left out of this one. In addition to a tutorial at the beginning, Djinnworks' mobile skateboarding game has two 1v1 multiplayer modes, including one in which whoever gets the best score in 1 minute wins the competition.

The game also has 10 tracks, with 22 characters with different attributes and skills. In Stickman Skate Battle, you can also participate in rankings, leagues and challenge friends in single matches. The game also gives you daily rewards so you can buy items and improve your characters.

5. Skate Fingers

Skate Fingers

Last but not least, we have a game that is perfect for those who enjoy a particular type of sport: finger skateboarding. The game by SmokeKills has simple but very interesting graphics. In it, you have to go as far as possible by using typical objects that we have at home, such as pencils, pens, rulers and erasers. In this way, you have to jump over obstacles and the gaps between the tables that you find throughout the scene.

Additionally, there are coins to collect throughout the course, which you can exchange for items from the store. In Skate Fingers, you don't have a skater to customize, but you can change the colors of your hoodie and the skateboard itself.

Unfortunately for iOS users, the Skate Fingers game is only available for mobile phones with the operating system Android, which perhaps influenced me to put it in fifth place on this list. The title that comes closest to Skate Fingers on the App Store is touchgrind, but it is paid.

The apps above are free and have optional purchases. Also check out other sports titles being played at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games available on smartphones and tablets: The 5 best Tennis games for mobile, the 7 best basketball games for Android e The 5 best archery games for mobile.
