About 15 days ago, leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) gave the lyrics about what to expect in terms of specifications of Motorola's future mid-range smartphone, the Edge 20. This Friday (23/07), another famous insider, Steve Hemmerstoffer (OnLeaks), reinforced the information and hinted that the smartphone will really be powerful.
He shared specifications and images of the Motorola Edge 20 with the Pricebaba website, and they are very similar to what has been previously commented about the mid-range device that should soon be officially confirmed by Lenovo, the brand's owner. What shouldn't be there are Qualcomm's two top processors (Snapdragon 888 and 888+), which was already expected in a phone that won't be at the top of the market. But that doesn't mean it's a lightweight.
The choice of processor indicates the presence of a Snapdragon 778G, combined with 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal storage, a very interesting configuration for the range it intends to occupy. The operating system will be Android 11, regardless of the version chosen.
Design and cameras
In terms of cameras, the specs leaked today also corroborate with what has already been said about the Motorola Edge 20. This means that the mid-range device will have, on the front, a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls, located in the upper center of the screen. The screen, by the way, will be 6,7 inches, with a resolution of 2.400 x 1.080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Without waterfall glass, as in the current generation of Edge.
On the back, there will be three sensors: 108 MP (main) + 16 MP (ultra-wide) + 8 MP (telephoto, with 3x zoom). The most recent rumors confirm the presence of a fingerprint reader next to the power button on the side and a 4000 mAh battery, possibly with support for fast charging, but not yet revealed. There is still no exact date or speculated price for the Motorola Edge 20, regardless of the specifications chosen by the user.
