Google will release the service to all users video conference via augmented reality glasses. The idea, which has a bit of a sci-fi feel, is to bring more immersion to the remote calls. Meet on Glass is available on Google Workspace.

The app allows people to see the perspective of the person wearing the glasses. It works similarly to screen sharing, but with the view of the person broadcasting being displayed. “With Meet on Glass, meeting participants can experience a first-person view from the perspective of the Glass user and collaborate throughout the video conference in real time,” says the company’s CEO. google blog.
