According to them, the device has been worked on under the codenames Agate/Amber, and would hit the market to compete with the OnePlus Nord 2.

The similarities between the two smartphones, if today's leaks are anything to go by, are many. The OnePlus Nord 2 has been ready to hit the market between this July and September, with the same MediaTek processor now adopted by Redmi.
