The game Candy Crush Saga announced on Tuesday (29/06) a new event in celebration of launch from Space Jam 2: A New Legacy – which will reunite NBA player LeBron James with the universe of Bugs Bunny and his gang.

According to Candy Crush developer King, from July 6 to 19, players will be able to collect Space Jam-inspired candies while LeBron James and the Tune Squad join in on the fun. In each level, players like Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny and Lola Bunny will join the Los Angeles Lakers player to boost their score. In addition to the film's characters, Space Jam-inspired levels will also unlock exclusive content to enhance your gameplay.

The announcement of Lebron James' participation as part of the Candy Crush universe was accompanied by a short 20-second teaser in which it is possible to see the player and other Space Jam characters in the game's visuals. Check it out:

A new legacy

Space Jam 2: A New Legacy is the sequel to the 1996 film that saw Chicago Bulls player Michael Jordan transported to the Looney Tunes cartoon universe to help them in a basketball game intergalactic.

Now, in the sequel, LeBron James takes on Jordan's legacy to help the characters in a new tournament, which this time will take place in another universe. Going beyond the film, LeBron James is also considered Michael Jordan's successor on the court, collecting four NBA titles, in addition to three Olympic medals and two world medals, as well as several records that make him a serious candidate for the greatest basketball athlete of all time.
