There are a few months left until the market finally gets to know the new iPhone models and, this Wednesday, a new video (yes, one more) went viral on the internet with the alleged design of the iPhone 13 Pro. The person responsible is an old acquaintance, the Dutch designer Jermaine Smit, owner of the channel Concept Creator, from YouTube.
In partnership with the website LetsGoDigital, Jermaine developed, on top of the (many) rumors about the flagship Apple, a video with images of what you imagine the future iPhone 13 Pro will look like. The main highlights, of course, are for the notch size and also for the rear camera design.
Since the launch of the iPhone X in 2017, the Apple never changed the size of the notch, but that really seems to be about to change. A series of leaks and now, the new video released shows that the iPhone 13 Pro could actually have a much smaller notch, with a repositioned front audio output. All of this would have been possible due to changes made to Face ID.
Regarding the rear camera design, the new video shows that, although similar to the current model, the iPhone 13 Pro will have larger lenses. According to the product specialist analyst Apple, Ming-Chi Kuo, the idea is to offer a larger image sensor for better low-light performance. The ultra-wide-angle lens would also have an optical image stabilization system, with sensor-shift autofocus for extra-sharp photos. This will make the camera module slightly thicker than the one on the iPhone 12 Pro.
The iPhone 13 Pro beyond the new video
In addition to the new video that was released today, a lot has already been said about the new iPhone 13, including the Pro version of the flagship. Recently, seven iPhone 13 models were certified by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). This certification is mandatory for a new product to be launched on the local market and must also be obtained in China (3C), the United States (FCC) and, in the future, in Brazil (Anatel).
Among the new features that should be included in the iPhone 13 models and that have already been leaked are the presence of the processor A15 Bionic, the inclusion of screens with 120Hz refresh rate, the increase in storage capacity to 1TB and more. Bets are that even the iPhone Mini, which failed to sell in the current series, will remain among the new releases.
It remains to be seen whether users will not be afraid to buy the new iPhone 13 Pro because of the number, as shown by a recent research. To avoid this risk, the Apple would even be thinking of launching the new series as iPhone 12s, and maintain the current family prices of the flagship in its next generation. It's wait and see.
