Google is only expected to make the Pixel 6 official at the end of the year, but a design radical leaked for the product well before that. If confirmed, it will be a major change in the line, which could come with the family's return to the flagship segment. Reiterating the new look, a case manufacturer may have revealed more images of the future devices.

Before we continue, it's worth remembering that none of this has been officially confirmed by Google. However, reports suggest that Google is likely to resume its proposal to launch a Pixel 6. and a 6 Pro, and the latter would be the protagonist of today's leak. The images show the design of the cell phone already on the cover, which has a brushed metal look. In addition, reinforcing a box with protruding lenses, the photographs are apparently based on a gray model of the cell phone.

Visual is different compared to the first leaks

While the model with black and red finish, first leaks, gave the feeling of continuity to the lens box, the grayish model reveals something curious: the very apparent demarcation of each photographic lens. Three lenses — the last one a periscopic — with a microphone, flash mechanism and another element not yet identified. The look certainly makes the product less discreet.

It remains to be seen whether the case maker actually delivered one of the phone's finishes, or whether the color was merely illustrative to contrast with its own case. However, the most important thing is that the images reinforce the Pixel 6's very different design.

While Google has not confirmed this, the convergence of information from insiders and industry sources is usually a good — and solid — sign. It is worth remembering that another Pixel 6 leak seeks to anticipate some camera news, which would include a gimbal function, a main sensor provided by Samsung, a custom ISP, and improvements for filming.
