The Honor broke away from Huawei in November last year. But, even though they are far apart, cell phone manufacturers seem to remain connected, at least in the concepts of their next launches, the Honor 50 and the Huawei P50. In addition to the absurdly similar names, the design of the flagships also seems basically the same.
The first official leaked images of the future Honor 50, which is scheduled to be presented on June 16, were released on Weibo and on Twitter, and left no doubt about its similarities to the Huawei P50. The flagship of the former “owner” of Honor was officially announced on June 02nd, but the release date has not yet been announced.

Camera module is highlighted in the “siblings”
The striking features of both the Huawei P50 and the Honor 50 are visible in the rear camera modules of the flagships. Both manufacturers opted for two giant discs to house the powerful lenses.

On the Huawei P50, the upper module will carry three lenses, while the lower one should house a camera and an LED flash device. On the Honor 50, the larger lens was placed inside the upper rear ring, while the lower one was responsible for housing the other three of the optical set.
The similarities between the flagships should end there, since, while the Huawei P50 will arrive with the operating system HarmonyOS, the Honor 50 will now be able to enjoy the partnership with Google, closed by executives with the right to use applications and all the functionalities of the American company.
Regarding processors, what will come in the Huawei P50 has not yet been officially announced, but it should be the Kirin 9000. The Honor 50 will arrive equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G, in addition to being prepared to present users with ultra-fast 100W charging for the battery.
