The Young Citizen first job promotion program is now accepting applications. Applications can be made directly at school offices, but it is more practical to fill out the form online — especially during the pandemic.

Created by the Government of the State of São Paulo, the Jovem Cidadão employment program aims to reach high school students who are in the second semester of their second school year, or the first semester of their last school year. At this time, it is focused exclusively on students from the metropolitan region, aged between 16 and 21.

With the cell phone in hand, the interested party can access the program website and start the registration. It is necessary to have some documents on hand, such as a civil identification. As soon as the registration in the Jovem Cidadão program is completed, a period of 15 business days begins to verify the data. The student must contact the program to check the progress of this step. As soon as everything is confirmed, the student's name will be made available in a job bank of partner companies of the program. The call will be made based on the options of interest filled in during the registration.

Changes cannot be made via mobile phone

Remuneration is provided in the form of an internship grant, and changes to registration details must be made by the school office where the interested party studies. Those who do not have access to the internet can fill out the Young Citizen program form directly at the school where they are enrolled.
