All about the best cell phones

After redesign Opera Touch, the Opera is launching a gamer version of its mobile browser, Opera GX Mobile. Coming to Android (soon) and already available for iOS In beta, Opera GX aims to offer features aimed at gamers for mobile devices, becoming another option in a market where Google Chrome and Safari tend to be the most common.

According to the company, Opera's gaming browser was adapted for mobile phones after a 190% growth in Opera GX for desktop, which already had a base of nine million users. The smartphone version has features such as Flow, a type of integration between the product for mobile phones and computers, in order to facilitate the sharing of files, links, QR Codes and others. Files can be up to 10 MB in size and the company claims that this is a personal and encrypted space for the user.

Just like the old Opera Touch — now just Opera — has an interface adapted for browsing on smartphones, the gamer browser features the so-called quick action button, which uses haptic vibration, a feature whose usefulness for using a browser is unclear. Through it, two menus are expanded: one at the top and one at the bottom. According to the company, the design of this function considers quick access to any navigation action with the thumb.

Ad blocker and pop-up cookie blocker

Of course, the interface is also heavily influenced by gaming products, which is why the themes are very colorful and dark. Therefore, users who prefer a minimalist look will certainly prefer the default Opera product. Something interesting for those who like not only to play, but also to follow the market, are the news widgets with data on releases, developments, and curiosities about the various ecosystems: PCs, Xbox, Mac, PlayStation and others.

Finally, the browser comes with a native ad blocker and cookie pop-ups. The latter have become common since several foreign internet privacy laws came into effect, and usually appear when a user first accesses a new website. Ad blocking, however, is a common feature in other products on the market, such as Brave, Samsung Internet, and others. For now, the Opera GX Mobile gamer browser is in beta on both Android and iOS. The company hopes to release it to everyone after this round of testing with interested users.
