TikTok's consolidation as the favorite network of the new generations is undeniable. The Chinese social network announced this Thursday (06/07) two new features, a login API for users to use TikTok to access other applications, and an audio solution (the new sound kit) for artists to bring their own songs to the platform.
Just as it is done with the Google accounts, Facebook and Apple, TikTok login is expected to soon be available for third-party apps, including other social networks, games, and streaming platforms, increasing users' options. Check out how the new feature will work below.

According to Isaac Bess, Global Head of Partnerships at TikTok, said, “As TikTok becomes increasingly embedded in culture, more third-party apps across a variety of categories and use cases are looking to tap into our community on their own platforms. Through the Sounkd Kit and Login Kit for TikTok, we offer the seamless integration for solutions that help developers expand their reach, increase exposure for creators, and empower our community to showcase their content on other platforms.”
Among the platforms that already have TikTok login integration confirmed are the game streaming apps Streamlabs and battle royale PUBG.

As mentioned, in addition to the login API, TikTok will allow creators and artists to bring original sounds and music from third-party apps into its ecosystem with the new sound kit. According to the social network, audio is essential to the user experience, as it offers endless possibilities for collaboration and inspiration in the community.
Expanding community features has been a regular occurrence at TikTok. In recent weeks, the company also announced the creation of a automatic subtitle generator for your videos and an incentive program to creators of education-related content on the platform.
