Two days after announce that it will launch two new tablets for the Chinese market, Lenovo has confirmed that it is also preparing the Tab M10 5G, a global version of the Xiaoxin Pad Plus. The main specifications of the model were leaked both on Geekbench how much in Google Play Console, indicating that arrival should not be delayed.
According to information released this Friday (07/05), there will be some differences between the Xiaoxin Pad Plus and the Lenovo Tab M10 5G. Starting with the processor, which will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 (the Xiaoxin will hit the Chinese market also with a Qualcomm chipset, but the chosen one was the Snapdragon 750G).
RAM will also be different in the global and 5G versions of Lenovo's tablet. While the Xiaoxin will have 8 GB, the Tab M10 will have two variants, one with 4 GB and the other with 6 GB of RAM. The list of specifications leaked on Google Play and Geekbench also revealed that the Lenovo Tab M10 5G will come out of the factory running Android 11 as the operating system and with a screen resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. Its size, however, has not been disclosed on the platforms or leaked by leakers so far. The price has also not yet been disclosed by the manufacturer, but it should not stray too far from the old generation of the Xiaoxin Pad Pro, launched in October last year for 1.999 yuan (R$ 1.758, in direct conversion).
Lenovo's new tablet is expected to also have some features from the Xiaoxin Pro. These include quad speakers and a USB-C charging port. The Lenovo Xiaoxin will also offer support for Lenovo One, a mode that can allow multi-screen collaboration between a tablet and a Lenovo phone. It remains to be seen whether the global version will also have this feature.
