A Tecno mobile launched its new smartphone, the Camon 17. Last week, the subsidiary of Transsion Holdings had already revealed the Tecno Spark 7P and the Infinix 10 Play (another label from the same corporation).

All models have intermediate or entry-level features and are launched in specific markets. Tecno Camon 17, for example, was revealed in Kenya, but should arrive in other countries soon. The highlight of the phone is the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, with ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 1,8 GHz.

Specifications

The device comes with a 6,55 LCD display with HD+ 1.440 x 720 pixel resolution. The battery is quite impressive for the category, with an impressive 5.000 mAh and 18W fast charging. In terms of cameras, the Tecno Camon 17 has a 48MP primary sensor, a 16MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP auxiliary sensor. The front camera has 16 MP.

In terms of memory, the phone comes with 128 GB of internal storage and 4 or 6 GB of RAM. The model also comes with Android 11 installed, a USB-C input, headphone jack and a fingerprint sensor on the back.

Regarding the price, the Tecno Camon 17 will be launched for 22.799 Kenyan shillings (around R$ 1.150 in direct conversion) in its most robust version, with 6 RAM. The version with less memory has not yet had its price announced. The smartphone has no forecast of arriving in Brazil.
