Huawei confirmed on Friday (23/04) that two of its flagship smartphones, the Mate 40 Pro and Mate X2, will soon have 4G variants launched in China. Although it did not reveal the exact date when the duo will hit the local market, the full settings de both phones can now be checked on the manufacturer's website.

The flagships are exactly the same as those previously launched by Huawei, except for the 5G connectivity, present in the models that are already successful in the market. According to the leakers, unlike the current version, the 4G variants of the Mate X2 and Mate 40 will initially be restricted to the local public, and will not be sold in other countries.

What do they have?

For those who haven't seen it, or don't remember, here are the configurations that will be found in the 4G versions of the Huawei Mate X2 and Mate 40 Pro. coveted foldable It will have the Kirin 9000 processor under the hood, accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and internal storage of 256 GB or 512 GB of RAM. The battery is 4500 mAh, with 55W fast charging, and the quad camera system is made up of a 50 megapixel main lens, an 8 MP periscopic lens, a 12 MP telephoto lens and an ultrawide lens, which also works as a macro lens, of 16 megapixels.

The Mate X2 4G, unlike the Mate 40 Pro, has as its main attraction the dual OLED screen. When unfolded, it measures 8 inches diagonally, with a resolution of 2.480 x 2.200 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The external screen, folded, measures 6,45 inches and has a resolution of 2.700 x 1.160 pixels, with the same refresh rate as the internal one, and a touch sampling rate close to 180Hz.

The Mate 40 Pro, while not foldable, has so many attractions as the Mate X2 in its 4G version. It also features the Kirin 9000 chipset under the hood, an interesting 4400 mAh battery (with 66W wired and 55W wireless charging options), and an attractive optical setup, with three lenses – 50 MP + 20 MP + 12 MP, in addition to the 13 megapixel selfie camera. The prices of the Mate 40 Pro and Mate X2 4G have not yet been revealed by Huawei.
