Facebook has been making some changes to the way users receive information in the News Feed. In addition to starting to offer ads of pages that the user does not follow, also implemented a system that turn off the algorithm to show the news in chronological order. Now, another novelty should be coming.
In 2019, the social network implemented a type of survey that asked users whether a certain content was worth their time. This updated the algorithm's relevance ranking to show more of that type of content to the person. Based on the results of this survey, Facebook intends to expand this survey to understand how people view content from a different perspective.
What will change?
The changes to how people interact with content posted to Facebook’s News Feed will be more qualitative. The first of these will be a new question to understand how inspiring a given piece of content is to the user. The more inspiring a post is, the more likely it is to appear at the top of the feed.

Facebook may also work with a type of ranking of what is seen. For example, even though a person chooses to see more posts from other users or pages, they may not want to see everything. Therefore, it will be possible to rank which type of post attracts the user's attention the most so that only those posts appear more often.
There are also changes regarding negative content. If a post appears in the News Feed and is bothersome or not of interest to the user, simply click on the hide option to stop seeing it. In addition, posts that receive greater anger reactions may change the algorithm's ranking and will appear less frequently.

According to official post from Facebook, these changes should start working in the next few weeks.
