Expectations about the upcoming flagships Apple are getting bigger and bigger. Earlier this week, we brought you some information about a possible new design for the iPhone 13 and your big cameras. Yesterday, 15/04, they were published here CAD images confirming certain observations of the phone, showing a diagonal arrangement for the rear lenses, as well as 3D renders and more speculation. Now, a very detailed video shows physical models of the iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Mini compared to the iPhone 12 versions.

The channel EverythingApplePro, on YouTube, created 3D models based on the information that exists so far about the design of the devices. With real phones from Apple and the 13D printer versions of the possible iPhone 3 Pro Max and iPhone Mini placed side by side, the video reinforces important points from the recent leaks.

Noticeable difference

From what we have seen, the rear camera modules of the iPhone 13 will have their size increased slightly, but enough to bring a very noticeable visual difference. These are larger modules that will take up more space in the upper left corner, and will also be thicker. In other words, the thickness of the camera area will be slightly greater.

Additionally, the devices are expected to have a different camera arrangement, with the two lenses placed diagonally instead of being integrated vertically. This is likely an adjustment thought up by the designers of the Apple for better functioning of the optical stabilization mechanics, given the larger cameras on phones.

The increase in thickness could indicate that some or all of the lenses will be thicker than before. Recent reports have claimed that some of the iPhone 13's cameras will have larger lens pods. The schematics in these images also indicate that the side elements will move slightly up the left side of the iPhone 13. This includes the buttons and the SIM tray. The change makes sense, as the Apple included the SIM tray on the phone's logic board. On the right side, the 5G antenna will be slightly larger.

Until the manufacturer's official launch, it is quite possible that even more speculation will be reinforced. In the meantime, expectations will continue to be fueled in the same way.
