All about the best cell phones

The launch of the new generation of Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip, Samsung's foldable flagships, scheduled for July, may be accompanied by even greater news: the announcement of the future launch of the Z Fold Tab. The device would be a triple-fold tablet that would be developed by the brand to hit the market in the 1st quarter of next year.

The idea, shared by leaker Yogesh (@heyitsyogesh) with the staff of GizmoChina, is to use a mechanism similar to that adopted by TCL in its newly launched Fold'n Roll, a cell phone that combines the functions of a foldable and expandable screen through the same technology, transforming itself into a tablet.

Hybrid S Pen

In addition to possibly being the first tablet on the market to feature a triple fold, the Samsung Z Fold Tab has also been worked on by the South Korean manufacturer's designers to introduce new technologies to the market. One of these concerns the brand's popular stylus, known as the S Pen.

According to leaked information about the project, the intention is for the S Pen to also be updated to a hybrid form (whatever Samsung means by that, since nothing has been explained so far). This technology could even be brought forward and appear on the market. already with the Galaxy Z Fold 3, although betting odds tend to suggest that this possibility is somewhat remote.

The Z Fold Tab would also have a more modern and resistant UTG (ultra-thin) glass than that currently offered in the brand's foldable smartphones. This technology is the most advanced under development by the Samsung team and will probably also be present in the new foldables from the Fold and Flip family. Could we be about to see a new trend in tablets, as well as in cell phones? We'll just have to wait and see.
