All about the best cell phones

We know that the Galaxy S21 FE (Fan Edition) It's practically confirmed, but we still don't have much information about it. Thanks to a new leak, however, in addition to renders showing the new smartphone from Samsung from multiple angles, we can now see how it compares in design to the Galaxy S21 original.

The person responsible for the leak is the famous leaker Steven Hemmerstoffer, or OnLeaks, who was behind the release of the images of Galaxy S21 5G shortly before its official release. It's safe to say that the guy rarely gets his leaks wrong, which is great news and makes us hope that this is confirmed again.

Small differences

In some ways, the Galaxy S21 FE may seem, at first glance at the renders, too similar to the original model. Even the leaker noticed this. However, a subtle but notable difference is the smoothing out of the rear camera housing. Take a look at the arrangement of the S21's cameras, sandwiched between the metal part and the back of the device:

That's changed a bit on the Galaxy S21 FE, as the renders show. Notice how the spot where the rear meets the metal camera mount has been softened on the new model:

But the differences don't stop there. According to the leaker, the S21 FE is slightly larger than the S21, although it maintains the same thickness, measuring 155,7 x 74,5 x 7,9 mm. In other words, there was an increase of 4 mm and 3,3 mm in height and width, respectively. The result of this, obviously, is a larger screen as well. Thus, the 6,2-inch screen of the S21 became 6,4 inches in the FE version.

The cameras should also be a differentiating factor in the two models. From the images, you can see that the Galaxy S21 FE has kept the three rear cameras of the original model, but everything indicates that the rear camera system will be slightly worse, to ensure a lower price.

Still, another recent leak suggests that the S21 FE front camera will be relatively better than that of other models. In other words, worsening the rear cameras could be a counterpoint to improving the front camera.

If Samsung does indeed launch the Galaxy S21 FE only in August, so we will have plenty of time for more leaks and even to confirm what has been released so far about the device, which includes 5G, 128 GB or 256 GB of storage and a 120 Hz screen refresh rate, for example.
