All about the best cell phones

It wasn't long since Samsung made the new Galaxy official A52, A52 5G and A72 until they are launched in Brazil: all they arrive today (07/04), and are added to the launch of the A32. Thus, the new generation of intermediates from the South Korean company is already quite diverse, bringing options for the most different budgets.

It's important to note that the devices launched today have prices starting at R$1.999 and going up to R$3.799. The cheapest of these is the Galaxy A32, which we talked about here. Those looking for a few more features may be interested in the A52, with Snapdragon 720G, which has interesting upgrades such as a 6,5-inch AMOLED panel with full HD resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The 5G variant, in addition to the differentiated connectivity, has a 120Hz refresh rate and the Snapdragon 750G processor.

Otherwise, the devices are identical: we have a 4.500 mAh battery with 25W fast charging (with charger included in the box), as well as 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD. They come out of the factory with Android 11 under the latest One UI interface. There is a USB-C port, biometric sensor for unlocking, NFC, 5 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0.

Regarding the cameras, the main module offers 64 MP with optical stabilization, the ultra-wide has 12 megapixels, the macro has 5 MP of definition, and there is also a depth sensor. Selfies are taken by the 32 MP front lens.

Galaxy A72 brings zoom camera

Very similar to its siblings in many aspects, the Galaxy A72 preserves the same amount of RAM and internal storage, and even the Snapdragon 720G of the Galaxy A52. Its screen is 6,7 inches with full HD resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz.

Keeping the same cameras as the other releases, the most advanced mid-range device only abandons the depth sensor to make room for its telephoto lens, with 3x optical zoom. This is the first time that a mid-range device in the Galaxy A line has received this feature, which until now was reserved for Samsung's top-of-the-line devices.

Gifts and prices

Just like the Galaxy A52 and A52 5G, the A72 arrives in Brazil with the same connectivity, battery, and fast charging features. However, those who buy it between April 19 and May 04 will take home the Galaxy Buds Live headphones. Those who opt for the more affordable siblings, between April 30 and May 05, will receive the Galaxy Buds Plus as a gift.

While the Galaxy A52 comes with a suggested price of R$3.299, for an additional R$200 you can upgrade to the 5G version. The A72 will be sold for R$3.799. If you don't need a mid-range device like these, the Galaxy A32 is also available, for a limited time, for R$1.999. And of course, there are other options in this segment in Brazil: Motorola itself brought the G10 and G30 recently here, with lower prices but with different features.
