The full and possibly official specifications of the Realme GT Neo appeared on Geekbench on Tuesday (30/03), a day before the brand had planned to announce the new variant of the flagship. Spotted under the code RMX3031, the Realme GT Neo used in the test platform had very interesting settings, confirming what leaker Abhishek Yadav had already said here.

The main change compared to the Realme GT, released on March 4th, is related to the processor. Realme replaced the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 and adopted the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 in the Neo version of the GT. The other configurations are practically the same in both variants, including the 6,43-inch AMOLED screen, with a 120Hz refresh rate and 12 GB of RAM in its top version, in addition to the 4500 mAh battery and the Android 11 operating system.

The differences, in addition to the aforementioned processor, are due to the fast charging, which is now 65W (previously it was 55W) and the possibility of the Realme GT Neo coming with a more powerful rear optical set than the original version, which is composed of 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP. This, however, will only be confirmed at launch. For now, the certainty is that the main sensor will be the Sony IMX682.

Dimensity 1200 x Snapdragon 888

Replacing the Snapdragon 888 with the Dimensity 1200 doesn't seem like a good choice for Realme for the GT Neo, at first. At least if we take into account just the pure and simple score of the two variants of the flagship achieved in the tests carried out on the platform Geekbench.

According to the data released, the Realme GT with Qualcomm's chipset scored 1.138 points in the single-score tests and 3.572 points in the multi-score. The Realme GT Neo, in turn, scored 975 points in the single-score and 3.320 in the multi-score, both results below those obtained by its original version.

The price considered by the brand for the Realme GT Neo is 24.999 rupees, something around R$ 1.963, in direct conversion, without fees or taxes. There is no confirmation if the Realme Brazil will offer the new version of the flagship here, despite the brand's intention to expand its business in the country.
