A new mid-range smartphone, the Vivo Y30, arrived this Monday (29/03) to fight for a place in the competitive Chinese market. The official website of the Asian manufacturer, namesake of the telephone operator, detailed the configurations of the cell phone, which hits the market five months after the entry-level Y30 variant. And they are very interesting.
The design is basically the same as the Y30 and Y30s versions, as is the screen size, at 6,51 inches, but Vivo has added some good news to the Y30 G announced today. The main one is the change in processor: the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460, entered the MediaTek Helio P65, also octa-core. It will be paired with 8GB of RAM and will feature 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded to a whopping 1TB via microSD card.
Another evolution compared to previous versions is in the operating system, which now runs Android 11 and Vivo's latest OriginOS 1.0 interface. The Vivo Y30 G's screen has also changed, but only slightly, and is now LCD HD+ IPS, with the same 6,51 inches as the basic Y30, introduced to the market in October.
Price is another attraction
The Vivo Y30 G’s camera system is quite simple. On the front, the selfie lens is 8 megapixels, and it is located in a notch at the top center of the screen. On the back, there are two cameras – the main one with 13 MP and the other, for depth effects, of 2 megapixels. Despite the modest configurations, the manufacturer’s announcement says that there are a series of functions integrated into the lenses, such as photo beautification and light effects, to help you “capture diverse and exciting photos”.
The battery is 5000 mAh, with 18W fast charging, and the smartphone also offers a 3,5 mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. According to the manufacturer, the battery has enough autonomy to play almost 15 hours of high-definition video or 11 consecutive hours of gaming without needing to be charged. It also supports reverse charging, via OTG cable, which is not included with the phone.
And how much will it cost? Like the other two members of the Y30 family, the Y30 G will hit the market with price as one of the main attractions. While the basic Y30 was launched at 1498 yuan (R$ 1.319, in direct conversion), and the Y30s arrived at 1198 yuan (R$ 1.055), the Y30 G is being sold No. live official website for 1499 yuan (R$ 1.320, also in direct conversion, without taxes or import fees). It is offered in the colors Acqua Blue (blue), Dawn White (white) and Obsidian Black (black).
