A Samsung is also getting into the swing of things podcast and your smartphones will have a pre-installed app to play the programs. Not a new app, but Samsung Free (which even not long ago it was Samsung Daily), which will now come with a native player, where users can add the feed of their favorite podcasts.

It works the same as any other podcast app, but as it already comes on smartphones with the adapted interface Samsung, UI 3.0, the app will no longer require listeners to download a third-party service. To find a program, simply search in the search bar or add the link. There are also tabs with themes such as news, variety, humor and entertainment to find new products.

The South Korean company also partnered with the Liberated Syndication (LibSyn) platform to indicate the podcast exclusive to the hosting company on the home screen of Samsung Free, in the Listen tab. Unfortunately, LibSyn's programs are all in English and there is no confirmation whether they will be available here in Brazil through the Samsung app. The new feature, in fact, is only available in the United States so far.

Samsung Free is the new content feed that comes installed as standard on the company's smartphones. The app is actually a new version of Samsung Daily and features news, movie and book recommendations, and now also podcasts. The platform was also previously known as Bixby Home, and served as an extension of the voice assistant, with a tab that brought together a calendar, notepad, and other similar services.

With change to Samsung Daily and then to Free, The app is very similar to Google Feed, a standard among Android users and which has similar features (Google itself even has a dedicated podcast app). To access the app, simply swipe the home screen to the left on Samsung phones.
