The OnePlus Watch, first smartwatch of the brand, will be officially presented to the world next Tuesday (23/03). But, until today, there was no indication of what its design would be like. Until today. This Friday (19/03), the Unbox Therapy profile posted on Twitter the first (rendered) image of the smartwatch.
At first glance, it looks quite simple, and similar to many other smartwatches that are already on the market. The dial will be circular, 46 mm, and the strap, apparently, will be made of silicone, in black (rumors indicate that it will also come in silver). The OnePlus Watch also has two buttons on the right side, which will possibly be used to turn the accessory on/off and to access its range of functions. It is not possible to identify in the only leaked image whether there are also buttons on the other side of the smartwatch's body.

Remote control and more
Leaks prior to the image released this Friday had already given some hints of what consumers can expect from the OnePlus Watch. And the specifications of the brand's first smartwatch seem to be quite interesting. In addition to being able to make and answer calls (as long as it is paired with a smartphone, of course), control music on the phone and display notifications from chat apps, the OnePlus Watch will have a different feature: according to the leaks, Pricebaba leakers, it can function as a remote control for the brand's TVs.
The other specifications include features that other good smartwatches in the market also already available to users, and which seem to be “mandatory” for those who want to enter the fight for a slice of this segment. The OnePlus Watch will have an SpO2 sensor, used to measure blood oxygen levels, automatic workout detector, heart rate monitor, sleep and stress tracking.
The battery, with support for Warp Charge, promises to last up to a week with just 20 minutes of charging. It will also have IP67 certification, which guarantees resistance against water and dust. Internal storage will be 4 GB, but, so far, the processor and operating system (which should not be Wear OS) have not been disclosed, as well as the suggested price. It's a good thing that there's only a little time left until the official launch, right?
