Less than a month after launch the FreeBuds 4i headphones, Huawei is preparing the arrival of the FreeBuds 4, which should be presented in May with the variety of colors as the main novelty. The profile Courage Digital King posted on Weibo, on the morning of this Thursday (18/03), that the brand's idea is to give users four different options for the new headphones.

Although he didn't say exactly what these colors would be in his post, the leakers are betting that Huawei's FreeBuds 4 will be released in two traditional colors – black and white –, as well as a model in red (also present in the FreeBuds 4i) and another in silver, which is the main novelty. The codename that Huawei is working with for the FreeBuds 4 is Mermaid.

Huawei FreeBuds 4i
Regarding specifications, there is no official word from Huawei regarding the FreeBuds 4 yet. The trend, however, is that it will take advantage of the best of the FreeBuds 4i and even its predecessor, the FreeBuds 3i. Among them, the highlights are, for example, ANC (active noise cancellation), in addition to the so-called “windproof” design, which filters the human voice and makes conversations clearer.
Other expected features for Huawei's FreeBuds 4 include the Kirin processor, present in previous versions of the brand's headphones, and Bluetooth 5.1 technology. The battery, like that of the FreeBuds 4i, can offer up to 4 hours of playback. It is worth mentioning that, if the charging time in the case (which comes with the headphones) is the same as that already available for the model sold in Europe, it will be surprisingly fast, just 10 minutes. If you can't wait until May, and you are also in China, the FreeBuds 4i headphones are on sale at Vmall for 499 yuan (or R$426, in direct conversion).
