The new entry-level smartphone HTC Wildfire E3 was announced by the Taiwanese manufacturer today, without much fanfare, in Russia. It is a cell phone that, despite being basic, is slightly superior to the Wildfire E Lite released in february for emerging markets.
At 6,5 inches, the IPS LCD display has an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels. It features a design with an 88% screen-to-body ratio, with a waterdrop-shaped cutout for the 13 MP selfie camera in the center and a biometric sensor for facial recognition.
The module for three of the four rear cameras is a vertical pill-shaped module, located on the top left. It houses a 13MP main sensor, an 8MP wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. Below that, there's a fourth, isolated 2MP macro sensor. An LED flash next to the module and a biometric fingerprint sensor in the center complete the top of the HTC Wildfire E3's back.

For RAM, the device offers two variants, with 3 GB or 4 GB. There is also the option of 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card. Its chipset is the Helio P22, from the Chinese company Mediatek, which has a clock speed of 2,0 GHz. The smartphone's battery has a capacity of 4000 mAh and offers a power saving mode, with 5V at 2A charging via the USB-C port. There is connection via Bluetooth 4.2, dual-band Wi-Fi of 2,4GHz and 5GHz, Dual SIM LTE support and GPS antenna for navigation, as well as a 3,5mm port for headphones. The operating system of the launch is Android 10.
The official website directs through a button to the store where it should be possible to buy the HTC Wildfire E3, however, the smartphone is unavailable and there is no information about its price. In any case, it should have an affordable price and there is an email registration area where interested parties can be informed about the phone. Its available colors are blue or black.
