According to Ming-Chi Kuo, a respected analyst at Tianfeng International and an expert in the world Apple, the launch of the brand's foldable will only take place in 2023.
Part of a report accessed by the 9to5Mac website indicated that the analyst identified the main reason why Apple did not comply the expectations generated around the foldable iPhone to promote the launch of the flip-type smartphone in 2021 or, at the latest, in 2022. According to Kuo, the Apple would have to “solve the key technology of the folding model and the challenges of mass production by 2021”.

According to the Tiangeng International analyst, the intention of Apple to launch a foldable, flip-style device with a screen between 7,5 and 8 inches. Other information that has been commented on regarding the launch of the future iPhone flip points to a series of configurations, such as bright colors for young audiences, stylus support (the famous pen), screen developed by LG, and much more, but nothing officially confirmed by Apple.
