Vivo will launch the brand's new flagship – Vivo S9 – on March 3rd. This Friday (26/02), less than a week before the official announcement, a poster leaked on Weibo, confirming the design and configuration of the Chinese smartphone's main camera. The manufacturer, the carrier's namesake, revealed in the poster that the Vivo S9 will have at least two variants – the entry-level model and the S9e.

Both will be visually identical, but with differences in configurations. One of the differences already pointed out in the official image is in relation to the quality (and quantity) of the selfie camerasThe regular version of the Vivo S9 will offer users a 44-megapixel dual camera, while the S9e variant will have a single, slightly more modest lens for selfies and video calls, with 32 MP of resolution.

Different processors

Although not officially confirmed, the latest information regarding the Vivo S9 points to other differences between the two variants. In addition to the number of selfie cameras, the S9 and S9e would be equipped with different processors: the new Dimensity 1100 in the regular version (as we have already said here) and the Dimensity 820 in the S9e. The batteries would also be different, 4000 mAh (S9) and 4100 mAh (S9e), both with 33W fast charging.

Both variants will reportedly come with a 6,44-inch AMOLED display, a 90Hz refresh rate, and three color options: black, white, and gradient blue. Unconfirmed reports suggest it will have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The Vivo S9 is now available for pre-order in China. on the official website from the manufacturer, for a “salty” price, equivalent to R$8.500, without taxes or other import fees – 9.999 yuan.
