All about the best cell phones

Flexible phones are a relatively new technology, and this may be a factor that discourages people from buying them. Do they work? And is the screen really durable? In addition, other questions may be in the air when it comes to foldable phones. However, as a way to get around this, Samsung is making its flexible phones available for a 100-day trial for consumers.

Obviously, to take these smartphones home to test, you have to pay for them. So, the test works as follows. After 100 days of use, if the user has not enjoyed their experience with the Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip and ZFlip 5G, he must contact the store to have his money refunded in full. The product trial program is only valid for the USA at the moment.

This type of rental had already been carried out by the manufacturer previously with other models. The most recent to participate in this type of program was the Samsung Galaxy S21. The flagship was made available for testing on Samsung Go, which is the testing service offered by the brand in its home country.

Given the high price of the flexible phones available for testing, with the Galaxy Z Flip being the cheapest at US$1.099 (R$5.967), the South Korean company came up with two advantages. The first, and most basic, is that the three phones have free express shipping. In other words, you don't have to pay anything to receive the product the next business day.

The second option offered by Samsung is a discount on the total price of the device in exchange for an old phone from the user. Products in good condition can get a discount of up to US$500, while those with a broken screen can get a discount of US$475. If the consumer takes an iPhone with a broken screen, the discount is even smaller, reaching a maximum of US$375 (or R$2.036).
