Despite the pandemic, 2021 should be a year of new things for the Apple. The Cupertino, California-based company is expected to continue releasing the unreleased AirTags and new iPad Pro for the month of March.

The information was revealed by YouTuber Jon Prosser, known for leaking company information. The products are expected to be shown to the world for the first time at a virtual event. Despite changes to the original forecasts, Prosser assures that the AirTags and the iPad Pro “are still in the air for March” and that this time, the Apple should not have any further delays. Initially, the tags should have been revealed in November, according to the leaks.

March is an unusual month for Apple launch products, but the rumors surrounding this month and the company are already old. The information even matches data released by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who said that the new iPad should hit the market in the first half of this year.

What are Airtags?

Os AirTags are small trackers that can be stuck to important objects, so the user will know where they are at any time. The devices will be shown in the Find My App, which here is simply called Search. If they move from their place (or near the user), a notification will be sent immediately. Recently, Samsung launched Galaxy SmartTag and Smart Tag+, which do exactly the same.

In addition to locating the objects or devices they are attached to, AirTags could also have other functions in the future. The tags could be used to improve the user's posture, or even to track their movements in games.

What's new in iPad Pro

Others leaks suggest the 2021 iPad Pro is expected to arrive in two models, 12,9 and 11 inches. Apple would still be leaving facial recognition to adopt biometrics on the iPad Pro. In addition, information obtained in reports from a Chinese supplier suggests that the device will have an OLED screen and not Mini-LED, as some informants suggested.

The latest supplier orders made by Apple indicate a considerable increase in devices with 5G technology in 2021. Therefore, we can bet that the new iPad will be compatible with the connection.

Now we have to wait and see if the Apple will actually announce the AirTags and the new iPads in March this year. In any case, the new product and the information about a possible electric car show that the company is full of new things for the future.
