All about the best cell phones

One of the biggest hit series of recent years is coming to mobile, with the new Cobra Kai game, which is in the pre-registration phase on Android e iOS. First of all, it's important to make it clear that this is a different game from Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues, which was recently released for PCs and consoles.

Developed by Chilean studio Gamaga and published by Boss Team Games, Cobra Kai: Card Fighter is a game that combines fighting and cards. This way, you can collect iconic characters from the series, building a deck of moves that can be used in matches.

On the other hand, this also means a likely focus on micro transactions, suggesting that we will have a likely game pay to win. Still, this will be the first game in the Cobra Kai/Karate Kid franchise to land on Android and iOS.

What to expect from the Cobra Kai game?

Unlike the aforementioned game for PCs and consoles, Cobra Kai: Card Fighter is exclusive to mobile phones and tablets. While the console edition is a game of walking and hitting, in the mobile title the fights seem to be one-on-one.

Unlike fighting games like Marvel Contest of Champions or the Injustice franchise, here the blows will be exchanged using cards. In other words, each punch, kick, defense and flying kick will be delivered using them.

This fighting style is nothing new. Games from famous franchises like Power Rangers: Legacy Wars also use the same mechanics. So far, the Cobra Kai card game for Android and iOS will have two modes. In the first, we will follow the events of the series again, but this time participating in the fights.

The second will be an online competitive mode, where we can collect fighters from the series and pit them against other players. The game will also feature periodic online tournaments and a “Sensei Pass,” a paid subscription option that will offer more content to subscribers.

We just hope that being a paying player isn't the difference between winning the valley karate tournament or getting the weirdest kick in the face in movie history.

The game Cobra Kai: Card Fighter arrives on Android and iOS on March 19th this year and you can now pre-register to be notified when it is available.
